Meade, Bob
Contracts and Grants Manager

Bob Meade is the Contracts and Grants Manager for CIEE. He has over 20 years of experience with energy utility research and development, including contract management positions at Consolidated Edison (of New York) NYGAS (a natural gas utility research consortia) and at two specialized research contractors (Optima, Inc. and Openshark Inc.) located in the Bay Area. This provided Mr. Meade with a variety of experiences that encompass all phases of the research project lifecycle. At NYGAS, for example, he was responsible for contract and project management for a diversified energy research portfolio of over 50 active projects, which had a contract value of $75 million.

Mr. Meade has an undergraduate degree in engineering (Manhattan College); graduate degrees in operations research (Polytechnic University); and information systems and business management (City University of NY).
