Executive Assistant - PIER Transmission Research Program

Gilda Garcia is the Executive Assistant for the PIER Transmission Research Program. Ms. Garcia has more than 30 years experience providing administrative support, nearly 25 years of those years with the University of California. Prior to her position with CIEE, she worked as a manager in information technology on the UC Davis campus. She has an excellent understanding of the campus' structure; UC policies and procedures; and compensation. In addition, she has expertise in financial planning, facilities management, and project management. She is consistently recognized for creative problem solving and producing departmental efficiencies. Ms. Garcia’s work experiences are excellent preparation for her current role as executive assistant to the Transmission Research Program (TRP) serving the needs of the TRP team, it’s stakeholders, CIEE and  The Energy Commission.
